How to delete your account
In the Android app: open Text2Celeb, go to You › Delete account, and confirm. This works even if you never added an email to your account.
On this page: sign in with the email and password of your Text2Celeb account, then confirm.
If you can’t sign in: for example, you used the app without adding an email and no longer have it installed. Email support@app-vision.co with the subject “Delete my account”. If you bought anything in the app, include the Google Play order number from your receipt (it starts with GPA.) so we can find the account. We verify the request and tell you when the account is deleted.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it in the store, or it will keep renewing: Google Play subscriptions or App Store subscriptions.
A subscription bought on text2celeb.com is set to cancel at the end of its current period when you delete your account, so it won’t renew. Refunds follow our Billing, Cancellation & Refunds policy.
What we delete
Your account is closed at once, and its data is deleted within 24 hours:
- Your sign-in and profile.
- Your scripts, generated clips, and dialogues, with their audio files.
- Your custom voices and the recordings behind them.
- Any credits left on the account.
- Your push notification token and the account’s settings.
Generated audio files can remain in our storage provider’s recovery copies for up to 7 more days before they are permanently erased. Clips you downloaded or shared stay wherever you saved them.
What we keep, and why
The law and our payment rules require us to keep a few records after the account is gone, and only for these purposes:
- Records of credits bought, granted, used, and refunded, kept for refunds, chargebacks, tax, and fraud prevention, with your account replaced by a random reference wherever the record allows.
- Records that a device or a purchase already received free or carried-over credits, so they cannot be claimed again.
- A record that the deletion was completed, kept for 3 years.
- If you created a custom voice, the record of your consent, without any audio, kept for 3 years.
- Purchase records held by Google Play, Apple, Stripe, and RevenueCat under their own policies.
