1. Who this policy covers
Text2Celeb is operated by Vision Innovations, LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Contact us at support@app-vision.co with “Text2Celeb privacy” in the subject. This policy covers our website, accounts, voice previews, generation tools, dialogues, library, billing, and support.
This policy also covers the Text2Celeb Android app. Text2Celeb generates audio. In the Android app, Pro subscribers can create a custom voice from a recording of their own voice; section 5 and our Custom Voice Notice explain what that involves. If we introduce video or image uploads, we will explain any additional collection and controls before you use those features. A feature mentioned in these policies is available only when offered in the product.
2. Information we process
We process information you provide, information created by your use of the service, and limited records from providers. Please avoid placing confidential information or unnecessary personal details in a script or support request.
- Account information: email address, display name, account identifier, authentication status, and account preferences. Firebase manages authentication; we do not store your password in plaintext in our application database.
- Creative content: scripts, selected voices and styles, dialogue casts and lines, generation requests, status, timestamps, generated audio, and associated playback and timing information.
- Custom voice data, only if you create your own voice in the app: the recording you make there (a short script that includes a consent statement), a processed copy we use as the reference for generating speech in your voice, the text of the script, and a record of your consent (the wording you agreed to, when, and from which app version). We do not create a voiceprint or any other template used to recognize or identify you.
- Billing information: plan, subscription status, customer and transaction identifiers, renewal or cancellation dates, and information needed to resolve payment issues. Stripe processes payment details on its hosted pages. We do not receive your full card number or security code.
- Technical information: IP address, approximate country from the hosting provider, browser and request information, security events, and error diagnostics. We do not request precise GPS location for voice recommendations.
- App information, if you use the Android app: the device identifier Android provides to the app, a push notification token, your device language, the app version, crash reports, and the result of a Google Play integrity check through Firebase App Check. We use them to deliver notifications, stop free credits being claimed more than once on the same device, keep accounts secure, and fix problems. Google Play processes in-app purchases, and we receive purchase and subscription records through RevenueCat.
- Support and rights reports: contact details, the material identified, your explanation, evidence you choose to provide, and our correspondence or decisions.
- Browser storage: authentication persistence, unfinished drafts, retry identifiers, saved voices, recent voice selections, and your selected recommendation region. These settings are stored on the device where you use them; clearing browser data may remove them.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use account and creative content to provide the service you request, recover accepted generation jobs, maintain your library, and manage subscriptions. Where GDPR or similar rules apply, the legal basis is performance of our contract or steps you request before entering one.
We use proportionate technical, security, and support information to protect accounts, prevent duplicate or abusive requests, troubleshoot failures, respond to complaints, and improve reliability. Where applicable, we rely on legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. We use records necessary for tax, accounting, and lawful requests to meet legal obligations.
If we offer an optional activity that requires consent, such as nonessential tracking, we will seek that consent separately and let you withdraw it. Accepting the Terms is not blanket consent to unrelated data use. Regional voice recommendations use the region you select or an approximate hosting country; they do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Creating a custom voice is optional, and nothing else in the service depends on it. We process your custom voice recording only with your consent, which you give in the app before recording, and only to generate speech in your own voice for your account. We do not use it to identify you, to verify who you are, or to compare your voice with anyone else’s. Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or KVKK applies, the legal basis is that consent. You withdraw it by deleting the voice; this does not affect processing that took place before.
4. How generation uses your content
Your script and the selected voice profile are sent to our inference infrastructure to generate the requested audio. A dialogue generates its individual lines and combines them in the order you chose. Generation and storage may continue after you close the page so the result can appear in your library.
We do not use your private scripts or generated media to train a general-purpose AI model. Public catalog previews are prepared separately from private account creations. Authorized personnel may access content when needed to investigate a technical problem, security incident, or rights or abuse report; access is limited to the task.
Generated voices are synthetic representations. Voice recordings can contain personal information even when a clip is synthetic. Do not upload or submit someone else’s sensitive data without an appropriate legal basis.
5. Custom voices
In the Android app, Pro subscribers can create up to three custom voices, each from a short recording of their own voice made in the app. We keep the recording and a processed copy privately for your account and use them only to generate the clips you ask for in your own voice. A custom voice is never added to our catalog or search, and nobody else can select it.
We do not create a voiceprint from your recording and do not use it to identify you. You must be 18 or older and confirm that the voice is your own before recording. We delete the recordings when you delete the voice or your account, and automatically after 12 months in which the voice is not used. Clips you already generated stay in your library until you delete them. Our Custom Voice Notice at text2celeb.com/custom-voice-privacy sets out the full retention schedule.
6. Service providers and disclosures
We share only the information needed for a provider’s role. Our service uses Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, databases, media storage, push notifications, app integrity checks, and app crash reports; Vercel for web hosting and delivery; Render and RunPod for inference infrastructure; Stripe for web payments and billing; Google Play for in-app purchases; RevenueCat for mobile purchase and subscription records; and Sentry for server diagnostics. Custom voice recordings are stored in Google Cloud. When you generate a clip with your custom voice, the voice reference is sent to our inference providers for that generation only and is not retained by them afterwards.
We may disclose relevant records to comply with a valid legal obligation, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or respond to a properly supported rights complaint. We assess requests and share only what is appropriate. A corporate transaction may involve a transfer of relevant records with continued privacy protections and any notice required by law.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The current web app does not use advertising cookies or marketing analytics tags. Providers may independently process data on their own websites, including Stripe’s hosted checkout and billing portal.
8. Storage periods and security
We retain account information and saved creations while needed to provide your account and library, unless you request deletion or a different legal basis requires retention. Abandoned drafts remain in your browser until you replace or clear them. Deleting local browser data does not delete server-side creations.
When you delete your account, we close it at once and delete its information within 24 hours: your profile and sign-in, scripts, generated audio, dialogues, custom voices, remaining credits, and push token. Generated audio files can remain in our storage provider’s recovery copies for up to 7 more days before they are permanently erased. App crash reports expire after 90 days.
Some records are kept after account deletion because the law or our payment rules require them: records of credits bought, granted, used, and refunded, for refunds, chargebacks, tax, and fraud prevention, with your account replaced by a random reference wherever the record allows; records that a device or a purchase already received free or carried-over credits, so they cannot be claimed again; a record that the deletion was completed, kept for 3 years; and, if you created a custom voice, the consent record described in our Custom Voice Notice, kept for 3 years. Reports you sent us are kept without your account identifier. Purchase records also remain with Google Play, Apple, Stripe, and RevenueCat under their own policies.
Custom voice recordings follow the retention schedule in our Custom Voice Notice: we delete them within 24 hours after you delete the voice or your account, and automatically after 12 months in which the voice is not used, with an in-app notice 30 days before.
Billing and compliance records may need to remain after account closure for tax, disputes, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. Support and security records are retained only as long as needed for their purpose. Deleted information may remain in restricted backups until the applicable backup cycle expires; it is not kept there for ordinary product use.
We use transport encryption, authenticated APIs, access restrictions, and infrastructure safeguards appropriate to the service. No service can guarantee absolute security. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.
9. International processing
We operate a cross-border service. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws from your home country. Where required, we use appropriate transfer arrangements, such as applicable standard contractual clauses, and assess the protections needed for the transfer. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
You can change your profile, sign out, clear local drafts and preferences through your browser, and manage a web subscription from Account → Billing. Canceling a subscription does not itself delete the account or its creations.
Delete a custom voice in the app under You › My voices. Delete your whole account in the app under You › Delete account, or at text2celeb.com/account/delete by signing in with your email and password. If you cannot sign in, for example because you used the app without creating an account and no longer have it, email support@app-vision.co and we will help you verify the request. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription; cancel it in the store. A text2celeb.com subscription is set to cancel at the end of its current period when you delete your account.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and challenge a decision about a request. California residents may also have applicable rights to know categories of information and disclosures and to use an authorized agent. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.
Send requests to support@app-vision.co or use our report form with “Privacy request” and your requested action. We verify identity proportionately and may ask for enough information to locate your account. Do not send a password, full payment details, or identity document unless we explain why a secure verification step is necessary.
We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any lawful refusal, exception, or extension. You may complain to your local data protection authority; this includes applicable EEA or UK authorities and Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Authority. Contact support to appeal our response or ask for help identifying the appropriate route.
11. Children and changes
Text2Celeb is not directed to children under 13 or under the minimum age required for the service in their location. Users below the age of legal majority need a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision. Custom voices are available only to people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children below the permitted age. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly.
We update this policy when the service or our practices change. The date above identifies this version. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required, and seek consent when a new use requires it.
